1. If you spent any time on the monstrous place formerly known as Twitter on Sunday, you were likely to see as many tweets about Phillies player Nick Castellanos as Joe Biden.
Why would a professional athlete get as much attention as the President of the United States announcing that he will not run for re-election?
Because people were surprised that one day with great news, Castellanos returned home again.
Did this just happen? Is this just weird? Yes.
But when you see this tweet of what happened in the days that Castellanos spent on his job, at least it’s something that happened FREAKY.
2. Shohei Ohtani hit his 473-foot home run Sunday night that cleared the stairs in center field at Dodger Stadium.
It was Ohtani’s SEVENTH home run of more than 450 yards this season.
Meanwhile, no other player since 2015 has more than one home run of more than 450 feet at Dodger Stadium. Ohtani has five.
